Trade School Making a Difference in the NYC
and Long Island Community. Vocational school seeks to prepare
men and women for the Electrical and HVAC/R industries.
The
Electrical and HVAC/R Training Center is aiming to make a big
impact in the New York City and Long Island Area. Their mission is
to educate and prepare men and women with the knowledge and
skills needed to be successful within the electrical and HVAC/R
field.
Currently, the training center has local partnerships with Copiague
High School and Bellmore Merrick High School with programs in both
electrical and HVAC/R. They also have major organizations
partnerships with Habitat for Humanity and United Way.

Founded in 1998, The
Electrical Training Center has expanded its offerings. According to
its website, the organization offers a wide range of curriculum to
serve the electrical, HVAC/R, Green Technology, & Construction
industries. In addition, many of its courses and seminars are
designed for those already employed in the workforce who are seeking
professional development and/or requiring continuing education to
maintain their credentials in the industries.
